Join our Highway Cleanup
The Friends of the Dog Park are participating in the Adopt-a-Highway program through the Michigan Department of Transportation. Clean-up days will be scheduled in Spring, Summer, and Fall, for a total of three clean-up events throughout the year. The section of highway we’ll clean will be in Isabella County and our final clean-up will be Sunday, September 22, 2019, 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM. Would you be interested in joining us as we keep a section of highway clean and attractive? The Friends of the Dog Park receives recognition for its efforts by means of Adopt-A-Highway signs showing the name of our group, placed near our roadside area. Pick-up crew members must be at least 12 years old, and children 12-15 must have adult supervision. All volunteers must watch this MDOT safety video. Anyone who would like to volunteer for the Friends of the Dog Park’s Adopt-A-Highway program can contact John Dinse by using our contact page. You can also get involved by checking our Facebook page. Many organizations like ours do this on a regular basis. It helps keep up the beauty of our local area, and we get a sign that names us, giving Hannah's Bark Park positive exposure and publicity!
