Safety,
Freedom,
Friendship.

Hannah’s Bark Park is a 3.6 acre dog park where dogs can play, run and explore, all off-leash. Dogs benefit from chances to exercise in safe fenced areas, along with enjoying friendships and gaining social skills that come from being in a group.

Park Members’ Dogs will appear on our 2027 Calendar

The Friends of the Dog Park have received enough entries for our 2027 Calendar, and the window for submissions is now closed. Now we begin working on the design and printing. When the calendar is available, notifications will be posted here and on our Facebook Page.

Brief road closure Saturday September 12

Crawford Road between Pickard and River roads will be closed for one hour on Saturday, September 12 from 10:30 to 11:30 AM. Access to the Bark Park will not be available during that hour. Users leaving the Park during that hour must use the southbound lane of Crawford only. This closure is planned by the City of Mount Pleasant to allow for a 5k running event sponsored by Zion Lutheran Church.

Bringing Friends Together at Hannah’s Bark Park

Hannah’s Bark Park is located within Mission Creek Woodland Park, on Crawford Road north of Pickard Street. This off-leash dog park is a collaborative effort between the City of Mount Pleasant, Union Township and the Friends of the Dog Park. With 3.6 acres of fenced area, the Bark Park has two fenced sections that allow large and small dogs to play separately. (Children under 12 are not allowed, no matter how cute.)

After Our First Decade

Hannah’s Bark Park opened its gates in 2015! For more than ten years we have provided safe places for both large and small dogs to meet and make friends in an appropriate setting. For information about how you can become a member and give your dog access to exercise and meet other dogs, visit the Mount Pleasant Parks & Rec website.
