Hannah's Bark Park - Naming Opportunities
The City successfully completed the re-bid process for the remaining portions of the basic functional dog park, designated as Phase I, early next year. Denali Construction was awarded the low bid for the construction by unanimous approval of the Mt. Pleasant City Commissioners. This was in large part possible thanks to the work of Bandit Industries, Inc., Kevin Clare Logging, Inc., and the City of Mt. Pleasant clearing and seeding the 3.5 acre park designated for Hannah's Bark Park,
We expect to complete construction in the spring and open to the public by early summer once the seeding has established.
The re-bid process scope included the basic functional dog park and the water infrastructure, but not the large and small dog park fountains. The parking lot improvements and the pavilion alternates were also beyond the budget monies and are not part of the functional dog park.
We are offering these naming opportunities, after Phase I. If you are interested in any of these opportunities, please contact Friends of the Dog Park by email at info@mpdogpark.org or phone Ken Hofmeister at (989) 513-7825 or Lynn Simons at (989) 621-4202.
