Safety,
Freedom,
Friendship.
Hannah’s Bark Park is a 3.6 acre dog park where dogs can play, run and explore, all off-leash. Dogs benefit from chances to exercise in safe fenced areas, along with enjoying friendships and gaining social skills that come from being in a group.
Bringing Friends Together at Hannah’s Bark Park
Hannah’s Bark Park is located within Mission Creek Woodland Park, on Crawford Road north of Pickard Street. This off-leash dog park is a collaborative effort between the City of Mount Pleasant, Union Township and the Friends of the Dog Park. With 3.6 acres of fenced area, the Bark Park has two fenced sections that allow large and small dogs to play separately. (Children under 12 are not allowed, no matter how cute.)

Celebrating our Tenth Year
Hannah’s Bark Park opened ten years ago! To mark our anniversary, we held a “Bark in the Park” – a festive event during which the Bark Park was open for anyone to try out. Vendors and participating organizations included Bubba Q’s, (thanks for the free hot dogs!), the Mount Pleasant Parks & Recreation Department, Magoo’s Pet Outlet, Canine Freeze Dried Treats, and Four Paws Rehabilitation. For information about how you can become a member and give your dog access to exercise and meet other dogs, visit the Mount Pleasant Parks & Rec website.
