Buy a keepsake, support future improvements to the Dog Park
Hannah Rosemary Simons-Scalise died in 2011 after battling Ewing’s Sarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer.
She had a final gift for her favorite furry friends. She insisted that the money put aside for her burial be used to build a dog park instead. The Friends of the Dog Park non-profit formed in November of 2012 to fulfill Hannah’s wishes. We heard about Hannah’s story through our dear friend Jamie, who was Hannah’s best friend.
Hannah’s never-give-up attitude truly inspires everyone who hears her story. Inspired by this, we decided to donate our time and silver to help raise money for Hannah’s dog park. All proceeds from your purchase of these hand-crafted solid sterling silver pendants will go directly to help make Hannah’s dream a reality.
If nothing else, her humility has shown us that one person can make a big difference. This pendant is a reminder to ourselves of the things that meant the most to her: time with friends and family, furry and otherwise.
