Join our Highway Cleanup
The Friends of the Dog Park are participating in the Adopt-a-Highway program through the Michigan Department of Transportation. Clean-up days will be scheduled in Spring, Summer, and Fall, for a total of three clean-up events throughout the year. The section of highway we’ll clean will be in Isabella County and our first clean-up will be Saturday, April 13, 2019, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Would you be interested in joining us as we keep a section of highway clean and attractive? The Friends of the Dog Park receives recognition for its efforts by means of Adopt-A-Highway signs showing the name of our group, placed near our roadside area. Pick-up crew members must be at least 12 years old, and children 12-15 must have adult supervision. All volunteers must watch this MDOT safety video. Anyone who would like to volunteer for the Friends of the Dog Park’s Adopt-A-Highway program can contact John Dinse by emailing dinse1jh@cmich.edu. Many organizations like ours do this on a regular basis. It helps keep up the beauty of our local area, and we get a sign that names us, giving Hannah's Bark Park positive exposure and publicity!
Got “Puppy Pizzazz?"
Do you have a photo of your dog that shows PERSONALITY? Share your dog’s individuality with everyone! Each month we celebrate a member’s dog (or dogs) through our Dog of the Month Facebook posts. Photos will also be considered for use in our 2020 “Dogs of Hannah’s Bark Park” Calendar. Send your photos to info@mpdogpark.org, and tell us what your dog loves most about Hannah’s Bark Park. You can also share details about why your dog is special, or the ways he or she adds to your enjoyment of life. Submissions are accepted now through September. Your submission gives Friends of the Dog Park permission to use your images on our website, social media and other publicity purposes.
